These Sunday morning programs begin with a physical, verbal and emotional expression of admiration and gratitude for enlightened beings; this helps participants nurture their inner strength and grow spiritually. It is followed by sitting meditation and a discussion of various Buddhist topics. This free program is open to the public and suitable for all.

This free program is open to the public and suitable for those at all levels. No reservations are required, but if you have not joined us before, please let us know you are coming so we expect you.

 

 9:40   Tibetan Yoga   (Working with the body to improve our health, the basis for better meditation)      

10:00   Calming Meditation   (Settling and focusing our minds to make our activities more productive)
10:30   Compassion Practice   (Ritual practice with prayer, chanting, and meditation, to develop our innate compassion)
11:00   Study group  (Investigating Buddhist teachings to enrich our understanding)
12:00   Lunch   (Potluck lunch to enjoy the company of other practitioners).

You may attend any or all parts of the program, as your time and interest permits.

Sunday Meditation is sponsored by our affiliate, the Dharmakaya Organization. It is held most Sunday mornings, if there is not a scheduling conflict. Please check the calendar to confirm.
