Retreats & Programs | Pursuing growth through wellbeing

The Dharmakaya Center for Wellbeing is founded on the fundamental premise that physical and emotional wellbeing are equally essential, and that each serves the other. Our programs address both, with a core curriculum designed for spiritual growth, and a range of teachings and retreats designed to expand participants’ wellbeing.

THE TRADITIONAL PATH

We offer a range of programs that help practitioners progress along the path to enlightenment.

The foundation is our Discovering the Dharma series; it is extended through weekend programs that delve more deeply into specific topics such as emptiness, impermanence and compassion; empowerments and teachings; and personal retreats and solitary retreats.

These programs establish the basis for a strong Buddhist practice, then systematically help practitioners strengthen and deepen their practice as they move from sutric to tantric teachings.

THE PATH TO WELLBEING

Medicine Buddha is one of the oldest Buddhist deity practices, yet its teachings resonate throughout the modern world.

Our programs harness this ancient wisdom, exploring the ways in which physical and emotional health are inextricably intertwined, and the means of advancing both in our daily lives.

DHARMA IN DAILY LIFE

At its core, Buddhism teaches us how to live—and so its teachings have valuable insights for navigating daily life. Our programs will explore topics from forming positive habits to releasing painful emotions, understanding basic goodness to being a stronger and more compassionate partner.
